Language: English

The specific heat of a quantum oscillators system discussed by Planck is found - with the accuracy to a constant multiplier - identical with the formula given by Einstein for a simple crystal case. This result makes it possible to compare the obtained specific heat with the entropy of the oscillators. Especially simple relations between the entropy and specific heat could be derived in the limiting situations concerning very low and very high temperatures.
