<abstract><p>Desde el año 2020 el proyecto diseñado en JDGP desarrolló una serie de actividades en vista a la promoción y difusión del trabajo de las Bibliotecas Escolares, reconociendo su incumbencia en los procesos pedagógicos como herramienta viva que moldea las dinámicas del campo educativo en tiempos de grandes cambios como los que caracterizan este presente. El proyecto ha logrado la formalización de identidad visual, articulación regional con bibliotecarios, capacitaciones en cultura digital y educación ambiental, y la creación de bibliotecas digitales. Además, se destaca la ejecución de la Muestra Regional de Proyectos de Impacto, que en su cuarta edición en 2025 reunió a 133 profesionales y presentó treinta nuevos proyectos bajo el lema “Bibliotecas vivas, escuelas que inspiran”.</p></abstract>

<p>Europe is distinguished by the concurrence of two characteristic features in most of the States that make it up: the richness of its cultural dimension and a consolidated democratic vocation[1]. For its part, the European Union (EU) has stressed that the cultural particularities of the Member States constitute the signs of their national identity, and contribute to the formation of a European identity[2]. In this integration process, the important role played by cultural heritage has been recognised, both as a tool for social cohesion between Member States and as an ideal instrument for strengthening citizens&#039; sense of belonging to a common cultural space[3]. In this context, the protection of cultural heritage has become a priority action of the EU within the integration process, and has been aimed at achieving two very specific objectives: the bringing of citizens closer to European cultural heritage, through its knowledge and dissemination; and the promotion of the cultural heritage of States, through its conservation[4].</p>
