Categories of oral artistsinclude professionals, free-lance and occasional poets.The most outstanding oralartists are the praise-singers at the various traditional courts.Niyàgákừừ’s performance falls under the professional type because he isa renowned xylophonist who playsduring the ‘Kàkubé’ Festival celebrated in Nandom and funerals that he attends.</p></abstract>
