Soft Power’ As A Political Strategy of States in Uzbekistan

Abstract

The article discusses the debatable issue of the influence of ‘soft power’ on the domestic politics of modern Uzbekistan. The article analyzes the tools and methods of implementing the "soft power" policy of such states as Russia, Germany, France, Japan and China with respect to Uzbekistan. The necessity of taking into account the ‘reverse effects’ of the political and ideological impact on the activities of state bodies and civil society institutions was emphasized. It is proved that ‘soft power’ is built in the form of a certain contextually determined structure with a variable configuration.
