Abstract
human rights are universal, basic inalienable rights that are available to all, human beings simply being human. These rights belong to human beings irrespective of their color, creed, sex, status or position of life.these rights cannot and should not be taken away. The paper examines how women are being targeted and perpetrated in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir due to the long-disputed Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan. The women in Kashmir are suffering a lot from both Indian armed forces and groups sponsored by Pakistan. This paper will present the human rights violation of women in Kashmir through various ways like rape, torture, physical assaulted, molestation, widows, and abduction. Women??s remained the victim of violence in Kashmir. The paper will also present over the period of time women??s were directly or indirectly affected through various forms of violence.
