Abstract

Technical sciences, especially engineering is a highly globalized field, with many projects requiring cross-border collaboration. Whether working with multinational teams or attending worldwide conferences, English is the universal language of communication. Engineering students require English to communicate effectively with peers, instructors, and professionals from all around the world. Mastery of English provides students with networking possibilities with professionals, possible employers, and other researchers, allowing them to create crucial global connections. There are various reasons why English is crucial for engineering students. As the global language of science, technology, and business, English literacy opens up a plethora of academic, professional, and personal options. In today's interconnected world, English is essential for engineering students. It improves their capacity to access global resources, collaborate effectively in diverse teams, and remain competitive in the international employment market. Engineering students who grasp English are more likely to thrive academically, professionally, and personally, as they have access to a wider range of chances and resources in their industry. As a result, English is more than simply an elective skill for engineering students; it is a need.
