Abstract

The results of our studies have shown that saturated fats of pork lard, used in feeding animals, have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system of their body - they reduce the atherogenic index. Using this phenomenon as a fundamental basis for human research, testing certain doses of pork lard containing saturated fatty acids in the diet of the population, opens up prospects for improving the health of consumers of pork and other products containing saturated fatty acids, which concerns almost all of humanity.
