Abstract
This work collects the main results of the doctoral thesis entitled: labor trajectories, grammars and critical skills of Paraguayan workers in Buenos Aires, carried out within the framework of the Doctorate Program in Social Sciences of the Institute of Sciences of the National University of General Sarmiento (UNGS) and the Institute for Development and Social (IDES). This research, which was carried out over six years, was concerned with identifying the problem situations faced by the Paraguayan community at the time of search and insertion to a formal / informal job in the Metropolitan Area of the Province of Buenos Aires-Argentina.
To meet these objectives, it was decided to make use of the theoretical, conceptual and methodological corpus of the so-called pragmatic / pragmatist sociology. A sociological approach that emerged in France during the eighties and that takes on relevance in terms of its way of approaching realities from the micro, the everyday, under the premise of following the actors in situation.
On this occasion, the sociological proposal of the French Cyril Lemieux on the grammar of action is taken up to present the findings of the first stage that corresponds to the job search. To do this, in the first instance, a recount of the sociological approach proposed by Lemieux is made, later, the results obtained during the fieldwork stage are developed and finally the conclusions and recommendations that arise from the same voice of men and women are presented. Paraguayan women protagonists of the life stories that are reviewed here.
