Abstract
Yravedra's (2024) recent reply to our critique of his study on the modern felid-hyenid faunal assemblage of Misiam(Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania) fails to provide any empirically-based refutation of our arguments concerning its multi-depositional nature. Furthermore, he has not provided evidence to counter claims of unethical conduct, specifically, the absence of proper permits required by Tanzanian authorities for his independent research. Here, we provide evidence supporting both of these points.
